06 Cerebellum

The cerebellum regulates the coordination of movement, balance and balance and is probably also involved in the regulation of language and attention. The cerebellum is connected to the cerebrum, brainstem and spinal cord via three cerebellar peduncles (middle, superior, and inferior). Dorsal to the cerebellum, four nuclei: the superior colliculi (2x) and inferior colliculi (2x) are located. The superior colliculi are responsible for visual reflexes and the inferior colliculi regulate auditory reflexes.

  • Cerebellar Peduncles (white): Sculpt a thin, elongated rectangle, fold it around the 4th ventricle, and let it extend caudally to attach the cerebellum later.
  • Cerebellum (pink): Form two pink spheres and place them caudally against the cerebellar peduncles.
Superior and Inferior Colliculi (brown): Shape four spheres and place them dorsally to the cerebellum, two at a time.
