Both gyri are located in the frontal lobe and are separated by the central sulcus from the somatosensory cortex in the parietal lobe. The somatosensory cortex is responsible for processing sensory information that reaches this cortical area via the spinothalamic tracts. The insula is part of the limbic system and consists of five gyri.<\/p><ul><li>Primary Motor Cortex (pink): Roll thin, long rolls of pink clay.
