We starten met drie grijze stof kernen van de basale ganglia, nucleus caudatus, nucleus subthalamicus (weergegeven als de thalamus) en de substantia nigra.<\/p><p>Het eerste ori\u00ebntatiepunt is het 3<sup>e<\/sup> ventrikel, namelijk links en rechts van het 3<sup>e<\/sup> ventrikel liggen de thalami die onderling zijn verbonden via de interthalamische adhesie (massa intermedia).<\/p><ul><li>Thalamus en interthalamische adhesie (rood): Kneed een rood staafje en plaats deze door de opening in het 3e ventrikel. Daarna kneed je twee rode bolletjes en plaats je deze lateraal van het 3e ventrikel.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Of note, in dit model is er geen verschil tussen de thalami en een kern van de basale ganglia, nucleus subthalamicus. In en rondom de thalamus liggen verschillende kleinere subkernen, waar de nucleus subthalamicus er \u00e9\u00e9n van is.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Het tweede ori\u00ebntatiepunt is het laterale ventrikel, waar de nucleus caudatus lateraal langs ligt ook in gelijkwaardige grote C-vorm.<\/p><ul><li>Nucleus caudatus (blauw): Boetseer twee langere rollen met een dikker frontale zijde en een dun uiteinde, als ware een kop met een dunne staart.
