Beide gyri zijn gelegen in de frontaal kwab en worden gescheiden door de centrale sulcus van de somatosensorische cortex in de pari\u00ebtaal kwab. De somatosensorische cortex is verantwoordelijk voor de verwerking van de sensorische informatie die via de spinothalamische banen dit cortexgebied bereikt. De insula is onderdeel van het limbisch systeem en bestaat uit 5 gyri.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #808080\">o Primaire motor cortex (roze): Kneed dunne langere rollen van roze klei. Plaats een rol roze klei frontaal, ter hoogte van de gyrus cinguli &#8216;krullend\u2019 van mediaal naar lateraal over de corona radiata (wit). Herhaal deze stap voor de andere zijde. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #808080\">o Primaire somatosensorische cortex (roze): Kneed dunne langere rollen van roze klei. Plaats een rol caudaal van de primaire motor cortex \u2018krullend\u2019 van mediaal naar lateraal over de corona radiata (wit).
